Preparation
1. Heat plenty of water in the kettle. Preheat the oven to 220°C top/bottom heat (200°C fan oven). Place the chicken breasts in a large bowl along with 1 tbsp olive or avocado oil and spice mix (contains pepper and salt) and let marinate.
2. Pour hot water into a large saucepan, add salt and bring to a boil. Peel the kohlrabi and potatoes, halve, and cut into 2 cm cubes. Place the kohlrabi and potato cubes in the pot of boiling water and cook for approx. 8 minutes until the cubes are firm to the bite.
3. Cut the broccoli florets into bite-sized, add them to the potatoes and kohlrabi in the last 3 minutes of the cooking time, and cook until firm. After the cooking time, drain the vegetables into a colander and pour them into a small casserole dish lightly greased with butter
4. Put the cream in a small saucepan, add the muskat spice mixture and bring to a boil while stirring, season with salt and pepper to taste.
Pour the cream sauce over the vegetables, sprinkle with grated mountain cheese and gratinate on the middle rack in the oven for 8 – 10 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
5. Heat a medium skillet on medium heat, add1 tbsp olive oil and fry the chicken fillets for approx. 6 – 8 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness until the meat is no longer pink on the inside.
6. Arrange the chicken breast on plates and arrange the gratin next to it. Enjoy your meal!
